Dan Sen
The Dan Sen is plucked string instrument of the Vietnamese and Chinese- Vietnamese people in in southern Vietnam. Its resonator is flat box-shaped like a six-petal flower. The Dan Sen produces clear and bright sound similar to the Dan Nguyet, but it is little louder. The range is nearly two octaves, from G1 to B3. The Dan Sen is used in Classical Drama and Reformed Theatre orchestras.
